# Posted 11:52 PM by Ariel David Adesnik Earlier this month, President Bush toured the [Allen-Edmonds] factory in Port Washington [Wisconsin] and received a pair of custom-made leather wingtips in red, white and blue. The company said this week it would not make any other pairs of the patriotic shoes.Bush, along with both his father and Bill Clinton, reportedly wore Allen-Edmonds shoes at his inauguration. I believe the shoes were made of black leather and no less patriotic. (4) opinions -- Add your opinion

I removed some blatant spam, which was offering iPods for 49 cents. I hope none of you were hoping to take advantage of the offer.
I own a pair of Allen-Edmonds, very nice shoes, not worth what I paid, but nice shoes. The vile conglomeration of mis-matched chunks of leather that the Allen-Edmonds crew presented to Bush is nothing like what I wear to work. Nothing.
